so here we is, 30 days and a wakeup since the infamous ( " we are IN famous" ) angry brownie email and we here at Pirate HQ are pleased to report that we have both skates once again running as they should be.

NO, we are not currently looking for any more , new skaters and NO , we don't have " lots and lots of room" and NO , this is NOT a drop in so please don't bring your friends, their kids and the family dog out to the skate hoping to play - you will be shot on site ( or at least scorned and mocked, which hurts a lot more ).

Pirates ARE always on the lookout for new talent so if you happen to know of a player who might be a good fit for us please forward ME their name and contact info and we can evaluate them before offering them a spot.

As a reminder of what Pirate hockey is all about this is an adult, SELECT travel organization. You have all been chosen to become regular members of the skate -  you were not simply "caller number 6 ".

As we move forward the next item on our radar screen is of course The Great Plains Shootout II - coming to a rink near you ( assuming you live near motto ) in September. Stay tuned for more details.
