ok - now that i am alone with the rest of you  here's the deal.

we had a pirate skate this last monday night and we had 1 F'ing guy on each bench.  Last Weds orange/silver had a skate and there was again, 1 F'ing guy on each bench and me and welchy were out there playing too.

Pretty much the same the wednesday before that and the Monday before that. And as much as I personally LOVE short bench skates you all know that it is IMPOSSIBLE to cover the ice expense

and amazingly enough brownie checked the PO BOX, pirate mail slot and online store and NONE of you that didn't bother to show up bothered to mail in your payment to keep your spot secure and help us pay for the ice............awfully sporting of you.

When black/white expanded to 2 weekly skates it was in response to YOUR requests for more pirate hockey - so we did so.  And many on orange/silver have clammored for a 2nd qeekly skate......but you don't show up for the one ?

Now that we have contracted with the city for 2 weekly skates you all apparently have decided you have something better to do? If i had a nickle for each one of you that has said:

 " hey, I can't make it this month but I'll start back up again ( insert distant month here ) "

here is the deal...........and please don';t take this the wrong way but how the HAIL do you even know there is gonna be a pirate hockey skate for you to re-join at some distant point if you don't come out and support it NOW?

Taylor and Rapaich have pretty much kept this thing afloat out of their own pocket for too long now. Each month the ice bill shows up and its for a hell of a lot more than we took in during the month.  so brownie is gonna make this really easy on you.

NOT " I'm in but due to ( insert BS reason why you've missed the last 5 skates in a row ) I wil have to take another month or six off "

NOT " i would SO like to be there but I had Greatful Dead tickets and watching that wax jerry garcia statue play the guitar is a religious experience for me"

NOT " funds are a little tight right now so i had to choose between that 18 pack, can of chew , box of poptarts and 3 video rentals and pirate skate "

IN or OUT starting as of right now.

the time for excuses has past.

Understand this: i WILL fill this skate with dues paying players just to spite you if I have to...........and when your cold, wet little nose pushes up against the glass and asks if you could pretty please come skate with us I will point to the calender and schedule a nice time IN THE DISTANT FUTURE when you can come back and skate with us

so name your poison now. the ship is sailing. get on it or get left behind.
